OBJECTIVE
Global Beach recognised an opportunity for Jaguar to add mobile as a further direct response mechanism to its above-the-line advertising (e.g. TV, Radio, Press, Outdoor). The aim was to provide potential customers with a simple method for requesting information from traditional advertising channels.
SOLUTION
We implemented our mobile marketing platform which includes 3 main modules – inbound SMS, outbound SMS and WAP sites. This allows Jaguar to make the most of the mobile Internet space as well as providing important location-based services and metrics from previously unmeasured channels.
RESULT
Mobile marketing has proved to be a vital tool in the Jaguar marketing mix. It has consistently provided over twice as many requests via SMS than phone and has resulted in a much more cost-effective channel than ever imagined. In addition, the XF WAP site was awarded a 2008 Webby Honoree.
